Lara Jackson graduated from Brenau University with a degree in psychology and journalism followed by a career in childcare and regulatory inspection. Thirty-five years ago, Lara moved to the Otto community where her father was born where she lives off-grid in a 150 year old log house. A renaissance woman, she has taught enrichment classes, given presentations on wild edible plants, performed as a storyteller and in a one-woman play about “Mother Jones”, written and illustrated four children’s books, and more. She is a beloved member of our Fellowship.
