Speaker: Danna Nolan Fewell

Danna Nolan Fewell is the John Fletcher Hurst Professor of Hebrew Bible at Drew University. Her area of expertise is biblical narrative, and her work often focuses on how literary constructions of gender, age, ethnicity, and social class complicate our common theological understandings of biblical literature. She is the author of numerous books and articles on these and other biblical subjects and is the editor of The Oxford Handbook of Biblical Narrative. She and her husband David moved to the area in 2016 and are currently trying to carve out their own garden of Eden just south of Franklin.)
