Maleness and femaleness lie on a spectrum along many dimensions.  The work of freeing ourselves from cultural definitions of how we as women–and by implication,men–should be in the world is ongoing. Women’s history month calls us to a greater awareness of our own complicity in affirming and endorsing gender stereotypes and to making the effort to overcome them.
