We Are Each Other’s Angels

Ashevillian, Chuck Brodsky, lived on a mountain the last time we saw him. Since Hurricane Helene tore through his town, he now lives precariously on the edge of a cliff with a badly damaged driveway and no front yard. Because his home was not damaged, FEMA will not help and he has had to create a go-fund-me to put in a retaining wall, new supports for his deck and a new driveway. Chuck has many angels who are helping him. Asheville itself has many angels helping with time, talent and treasure, but will require many more angels before it can heal from its wounds. We are living in times when ”community” has a more demanding expectation. Chuck will be ZOOMing into our worship service with his message and music. If you would like to see him live, please, be an angel, come to his concert which will be held the day before on Saturday the 25th at 2:30 in the sanctuary.
