Let’s Celebrate! el Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

Death is a part of life and learning to embrace it can help us live life more fully in the present. This time of year, when the veil is thin and our ancestors are reaching out to us is a good time to celebrate and bring this Latina ritual into our own lives. Join us in this exploration and experience of el Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) – a holiday widely celebrated in Mexico- to honor memories of our deceased loved ones.

As a hospice chaplain, Angelina is no stranger to death. She will be bringing the message on ways to honor and celebrate death and encourages us to bring pictures, favorite foods, or other memorabilia to place on the ofrenda. To help yourself get in the spirit watch the animated film Coco.
