 See you there.
The topic will be: Meaningful Journeys:
Life involves various types of journeys: physical/geographical journeys, journeys in the mind through contemplation or exposure to written or pictorial material, spiritual journeys toward greater spiritual understanding, and creative journeys involving development of creative skills such as music, drawing or painting, and photography. No doubt there are other types of journeys. Each of these can involve "travel" from a point of origin to a "destination".
What journeys have you taken that have influenced you significantly? How have these changed you? What plans do you have for future journeys? Let's have an open and respectful discussion.

Spirituality Discussions are held on the 1st Sunday of the month. This is a change to better accommodate participants' schedules. These discussions share personal insights and help us to better know each other and build community. All are invited where everyone's opinions are welcomed and respected. 828 524-3691
We have changed the zoom Contemplative Dialog to the 3rd Sunday of each month which will be this coming Sunday. A topic will be announced at the session followed by 7 minutes of silent contemplation. We will then share our thoughts. Come join us for this open discussion where everyone’s opinion is welcomed and respected. We have much to learn from each other and our discussions enable us to get to know each other better.

Suggested Listening (Warren)
How does a dainty little lady do it. To jump around like that there should be leg muscles like the incredible hulk. How can they do it without wings?

And by the way this is just a few seconds out out of a full ballet. Opera singers often alternate performances with their understudy. Dancers dance every night and sometime two performances on Saturday!

A Punny (from John): What do you call a pig with laryngitis? Disgruntled.

Words from Warren: Hear the wisdom / ravings of a man of a man of over 80 years. Ok, I admit many of those years were squandered in slow and painful development. Enjoy the ironic humor of it, but please give it some thought. I have been through many "shake ups" in educational organizations, governmental organizations, financial organizations, family and yes, UU organizations. You may think the future in in doubt, but I can tell you exactly what to expect. It's like salad dressing. Yes, I said salad dressing. It is inevitable. It is always works out the same. Take a breath ... Eventually the result of shaking up salad dressing produces the same repeatable result, the water settles to the bottom, the oil rises to the top, and the spices that provide the tasty essence mostly float in between. I hope you are grinning, but think ...
There's plenty of space for your announcement! If you have something you'd like to feature in the UU View next week, send it over via the form:
