Keep Your Eye Upon the Doughnut: Cultivating Abundance
Holley Ulbrich. When we want to produce more goods and create more jobs, we rely on that rather nasty but abundant quality of humans, greed, as a motivator. Spring Housecleaning as Spiritual Practice
Holley Ulbrich. Imbolc, February 1st, is the time of birthing of lambs and of purification. In ancient Rome and among the Celts, it was a time to clean house. The Lone Ranger and The Beloved Community

Holley Ulbrich. We all grew up with Superman in the comics and the Lone Ranger on TV, swooping in to right the wrongs and rescue those who could not rescue themselves. But Lone Ranger or Superman as an operating style fails to build and sustain a healthy community. Each of us needs to look at our own operating style in leadership roles and the qualities we look for in choosing leaders so that we can we can help our communities—family, neighborhood, congregation, nation--develop a leadership style that is intentionally collaborative.

From You I Receive, To You I Give

Holley Ulbrich. The four forbidden topics of polite conversation? Sex, money, religion, politics.  Let's leave the sex and politics to the evening news and focus on exploring how the intersection of our faith community and our money enriches us as individuals and in our relationships to one another and the world around us.
