Love is Magic

Dale Barrington

Dale deems it his very special pleasure to speak to a subject that is most often expressed rather than spoken to: love.  He says, "I will do this through two vignettes, which have the district markings of 'white-gold'."

Our Tribe and Living Positively

Mike Holland
As we grow older we begin to choose who we want in our lives, who we love, who we share our times and our days with.   We’ve all chosen certain family and certain friends who share a bond of close family love. At least we are lucky if we have that in our lives. We have an opportunity here at UUFF to become a tribe a “ Chosen Family" where we can feel safe, we can share the good parts of our lives and we are learning that we can also share some of the not so good times. I will be sharing some of both of the good and the bad as I discuss Chosen Family and Living Positively.

Special Business Meeting

The Board has called a special business meeting for immediately following the service on September 22.  The purpose of the meeting is to approve the addition of budget lines for the new committees, that did not exist when we passed the budget in June. NOTE: due to the way our by-laws are written, you must be physically present at this meeting in order to vote.

Non-members may attend but not vote.

Sunday, September 29, 2019 - 11:00am

Come to Tassee Shelter at service time and enjoy each other's company in a different way from the usual.  UUFF will provide meat; you bring a potluck side dish--and your own table service, in keeping with our Green Sanctuary designation (if you don't have a plate, cup, napkin, and utensils to bring, don't worry; we'll bring a few extras!).

Tassee Shelter is NOT the one by the dog park!  See .

Various activities are possible in addition to eating and talking, and volunteers of all kinds are needed.

“How does your 'Faith' or religious belief influence your moral values?”

All are welcome to participate in these open sessions on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 9:30-10:30 before service.  All comments are welcome and opinions are respected.  It is important to formulate one’s own ideas, gain insights from others and participate in dialog to better get to know each other.
